USA, 1960s
1960s handwoven textile piece in burgundy with some chartreuse accents. Beautiful vintage fiber art, extra tall and slim (purchased from a midcentury estate and it was hanging in the tall stairwell). Nice body, texture, and dimension to this piece, and in a rich colorway with some metallic threads on the body of the piece- has almost a Chanel tweed feeling to it. The top has a triangular hanging section in textured rope on top of the wooden rod.
Reverse has the tag shown, which was pinned to the back. It states:
